EAS Mini-Scenario - False Alarm

Please read before watching. Also, don't wear headphones while watching this, or if you are... don't leave the volume too high.

SYNOPSIS: The Emergency Alert System is meant to warn people about incoming disasters, man-made or otherwise, but that doesn't mean the EAS itself could be used for malicious activities. In 2013, a group of hackers managed to break into a Montana EAS system and cause it to broadcast a message detailing a zombie apocalypse. While this did nothing but generate a few laughs, it did raise concerns regarding EAS security. If the EAS can be hacked so easily, what if someone who was malicious tried to cause a panic?

This scenario in particular is rather short, only having two alerts and taking place entirely within the Seattle-Tacoma metropolitan area. There really isn't anything special here, but it was something I wanted to do.

Like always, criticism is appreciated, and I'll take as much criticism as I can get. It can only make the videos better.

Once again, great job here. I do have one criticism though that has to do with the extended use of the "EMERGENCY ACTION TERMINATION" message. That message is meant to only report an ending to the national threat/emergency. For realism's sake, use the "EMERGENCY ACTION TERMINATION" message for that purpose only, then use a statewide activation "CIVIL EMERGENCY MESSAGE" for the states of Washington and and California for the panic induced riots afterwards.

I've been checking out your videos as of late, and I have to say, I'm thoroughly impressed. I love how you not only take great care in making the alerts, but also in providing a story to go with them, and I greatly respect strong storytelling and worldbuilding.

That said, I have a proposal for a situation - with all of the focus on unmanned aerial vehicles and drones being touted as the future of warfare, it's taken a lot of focus off of tanks. What say we bring them back into the spotlight for this one? A new tank prototype developed as a replacement to the M1A2 - with heavy armor extremely resistant to tank rounds and missiles, sporting dual gun turrets and heavy missile racks - is hijacked by a militia or terrorist group during its transport from its test site and let loose on the unsuspecting public.

I've got two great ones for you.
scenario 1:
Nuclear Power plants are already huge targets, but when natural and human disasters occur to these plants, the united states are in for a wild ride.
Tornadoes hit nuclear power plants in the midwest, while an earthquake and subsequent tsunami impact the Diablo Canyon nuclear power plant. An explosion occurs at the Oconee Nuclear Power plant (The third largest nuclear power plant in the usa, and also only about 30-45 minutes away from me) and a subsequent meltdown occurs. Other explosions occur, although i'm not sure where exactly. Fallout spreads over most of the united states in only a few hours.
Scenario 2:
The president is assassinated and a power struggle insues between numerous groups, mostly insurgents and those on the far ends of the political spectrum, from anarchist communists to fascists. Knock yourself out.

i like how the commercials are always ironic in some way. like, in regards to the EAS that follows. also, use the tom (us) voice for the EAS portions.

When a nuclear missle warning is issued and people go out and start rioting instead of seeking a fallout shelter, well there definitely gonna die now. Granted it was a fake, but what if it wasn't.
