How to configure HDHomerun View on Android

I had a hard time figuring out how to access the configuration screen on the HDHomeRun View app running on Android. Thanks to Signcarver on the SiliconDust forum, I now know how to access it. I thought I would pass this information along.

I wish you left a link, but I found the "Network Tuner Monitor" by using the search feature on the silicon dust forum so thanks for saying that in the video. It helped point me to the IP address of the hdhomerun where I could configure the device transcoding and confirm the firmware was up to date. Thanks!

Also, the "hidden settings" feature of the hdhomerun app by multiple clicking the pause/play button must be unique to platform because the only settings I can toggle are to "send diagnostic data", which after toggling on end up crashing the app. I had to reinstall the app to get it running again. iPhone 6 plus on ios11.3

Do you know how to change the Auto settings on the Live TV app to shut off surround sound ? Can't get the audio my TV doesn't covert the audio stream . Thanks

thanks for info. When I try to check mpeg decoder says unable to enable. The instatv app works great they offer additional audio codec for$9.99

Hey thanks! My Android Box wouldn't play Live TV without pausing every 5 seconds. Turns out the culprit was a setting on this menu, Audio pass through. Clearing that check box allowed smooth playback
