People at 42 - What's Radical Inclusion all about?

Can you believe that only 15% of software engineering jobs are filled by women? And this is just one underrepresented group in the tech world, one of the many that need addressing. Opportunity is distributed unequally and it's time for this to change.

Diversity and Radical Inclusion are hugely important pieces of the 42 Berlin puzzle. Without them being backed up by intentional action in all which we do, our mission to inspire our students to thrive in a world where we can create #techforgood would not be possible. We need to make sure everyone feels safe, is heard, and has the confidence to bring their authentic selves to our community.

As a society, we have a lot of unlearning to do when considering any bias towards underrepresented groups in our society. Diversity has so many facets to it, that may not readily come to mind but must be considered if we want everyone's potential to be reached. Watch the video in full to get an insight into what the depth of diversity may look like and how 42 Berlin, as a school, is continually evolving to include as many voices and needs as we can.
