The Tigers fall in their final game of their Israel trip.

The Israeli National team defeated Auburn 95-86 on Monday afternoon behind Deni Avdija's 25 points. Avdija was the No. 9 pick in the 2020 NBA Draft.

The Tigers struggled to stay in front of Israel, who ran some tremendous sets in the half court that Auburn continued to overcommit on. By virtue, Israel drew 46 fouls and shot over 40 free throws.

It was a great learning experience for Bruce Pearl's Tigers, who had cruised through their first two Israeli contests (119-56 win over the Israeli U-20 team, and a 107-71 win over the Israeli Select All-Star team).

Damn, this Israeli team is solid. Good atmosphere within the arena from the fans too, respect to Israel basketball .

Man the difference between pros and college teams are different. The baskets came a lot easier for the national team. A lot of passes/ extra passes. Auburn won’t see a team like this in college ever so they’re going to be really good. But again these are highlights and almost every bucket comes off an assist

Love Deni man he’s really our defensive god and hopefully he gets more looks as the playmaking forward he is

Avdija needs to be given the keys to an nba offense ! He can playmake n handle the rock excellently for a bigger guy. The wizards are failing to utilize him to his max potential

For Auburn to go up against a team of professionals and keep it that close of a game until the forth quarter, that says a lot for the caliber of players on this Auburn team.

The college team has a more quicker flash year athletic isolated approached to the game where as the European team Has teamwork, move the ball slow, get a good shot approach to the game It was so cool to see two different styles of basketball mesh on 1 court

Israel’s ball movement is pretty good. I’m impressed.

Just got flashbacks to last season watching KD Johnson go to the basket out of control, flinging up some circus shot, hoping for the foul call. I love his energy, spirit, and hustle... and he's got talent. He's just got to realize when to turn it on and off.

The last foul on Avdija, was so wrong. He didn't touch the Auburn player.

The day Wendell Green decides to stop playing hero-ball is when Auburn will take the next step

I was hoping Yam Madar would be added to the Celtics roster for this upcoming season.

10:35 Nice "burek" move by young guy from Auburn. Deni was gone for one with cheese there 😅

Isreal and Auburn play was different. You can tell the difference between a professionals and amateurs (college). Look at the ball movement and how easy opportunities were for the Isreal national team. They were pretty much in cruise control the whole game. They are pro basketball players. They should win and make it look easy.

Auburn has guys who can play basketball and anybody who knows basketball or actually played at a high level would know that if you are really good and play at a high level, then you can hold your own talent wise on the court. The difference between these two teams is experience and IQ of the game.

Auburn will beat Montverde HS basketball team just off of experience and of course being older and more mature as well as talented.

This is no surprise.

Honestly it’s obvious that if Deni wanted to take it to another level in this game he could LMAO

Wait this is actually crazy…. A D1 team barely losing to an entire Nation is just wild. Maybe we should get some D1 schools vs NBA team exhibitions
