Couldn't he be in survival mode too? A stranger trying to get into your car at night sounds terrifying.

People need to understand that it is not an obligation for someone to protect you or be kind to you, it is an act of grace.

I am so sorry this happened to this young lady. I do not understand how she can blame this man for her situation. If She would take him to court for this if he would have allowed her in his car there is no telling what she would have blamed on him. Her date should have made sure she were home safe.

Judge, you are so wrong. You don't just pick up a random stranger in the middle of the night in a dangerous area. It has nothing to do with being in gentlemen it has to do with common sense.

I love the outcome of the case the gentleman is very much innocent

She should of called an uber or got someone to walk her. You can't blame a random stranger.

If it's a shady area and it's a complete stranger, I completely understand why he didn't give her a ride.

I’m glad the right decision was made in this case. My reason being that it could of been a set up with the lady running and screaming to car jack or rob him. Also like they both said it was a bad neighbourhood so why would she knowingly walk home at night by herself or why didnt the guy she met walk her home.

I didn’t appreciate the judge saying that’s what a real man would do…super rude. The driver wasn’t in the wrong

The guy she met at the dance should of walk her home

This was one of the crazier cases where people tend to think everyone is responsible for their own actions and choices. I would have been afraid too tbh letting strangers in your car especially late hours is a nono. Idc what excuse they give and tbh my doors would have been locked and I'd have taken off too. Let go of the door handle next time.

She needs to be held responsible for her own actions. He had NO duty to help.

I don’t like how these people are not even considering the taxi drivers past trauma when he said he’s been through the similar experience, laughing at him and making him guilty

I agree with the judge in this case . I realize she was scared but when the car pulld away why hang on to the car door. So sadly she brought it on herself.

I really do not hold that man responsible. I would not allow a stranger in my car when I do not know whats going on

Sue the men that was behind you. Why would she be walking in that kind of area? I would've been to scared to stop. That's crazy

BUT if he allowed her in his car, and he had an accident, she would sue him for that. If he had damages from her hanging onto his car and he sued her, she would say he shouldn't have stopped. This poor man would be sued no matter what.

I have 0 sympathy for this woman, im a man and walking alone or with friends in my neighborhood at night is bad idea. She deserves it 👏

If anyone is responsible for her injuries, it's the guys that were chasing her. Funny, she never mentioned what happened to them. They're probably the ones who took her to the hospital 😅

I have seen cases similar to this. And over thousands of women tend to sue the rescuers or falsely accuse them. So I don't blame the guy for what he did.
