tried everything. nothing works. i have subscribed avast installed. i also had norton but uninstalled norton. still even trying all your methods nothing worked for me. still white screen for me

Didn't work for me. Oh and BTW... I just reinstalled Windows!! Like WTF, how is this possible? I got the computer, it was fine fine fine, and I had to go and fuck it up, and so I reinstalled Windows (NOT repair install) and there's still things that are messed up. In my add/remove programs the bottom 10-15 programs are blank, just says Microsoft etc. And then Windows Defender is also blank.

I'm totally going to have to return this laptop. I didn't know you could fuck up a computer permanently or whatever by messing with permissions. I could see if it was a BIOS setting, but if you reinstall Windows, it should fix ALL Windows problems, no?

I verified everything and it still only shows the badge (black screen)
