Alabama Dance Works BEYONDance Outreach Recital 2023

BEYONDance Arts in Education Outreach program serves several schools in the Dothan City Schools System. This year our program is at Highlands Elementary, Morris Slingluff Elementary, Girard Intermediate School and Hidden Lake Primary School. Our teaching artists present a curriculum designed to fully engage and improve communication/motor skills, physical fitness, conduct, focus, and social skills while building on each child's movement vocabulary and creativity.

Alabama Dance Works' BEYONDance provides approximately 24 weeks of FREE dance programming in the P.E. classrooms of each school. Every child is given the opportunity to perform what they have learned, for their family and friends at a free performance open to the public at the end of the year at the Dothan Civic Center! These events give each child a chance to take their performance to the next level on the big stage!
