Hello prim friends! My name is Gabriella Moir and welcome to our channel The Cape on the Corner at Tweedthistle Farms, where we love to explore antique shops and homes that are filled with history in early American antiques and primitives that also go well in farmhouse decor and decorating. We are sharing the building process too as we build and decorate our forever home, a Cape Cod style home on our 5+ acres in Ohio where we also have a specialty cut flower farm. Follow along as we share daily life of starting seeds and planting seedlings for the cutting garden, establish new landscaping near our home to try to give it that early look and feel. In the growing season we'll be starting a Shaker kitchen herb garden and so much more. Keep watching!

We were at The Pine Cone Shop yesterday. It was a lovely shop. It does have many beautiful things. However, we all thought it was rather pricey. Many of the things we saw there we had seen at previous shops and antique stores that were much lower in cost. But as I said, it is a very well done shop.

I went to the Hancock Shaker Village this last Sunday and it was fantastic to be there once more… the weather was perfect and all of the vegetables and flowers were so beautiful. It was my birthday on the 18th of July so I wanted to go there. I hope that you will experience it someday for yourself. They have alot of history on the internet. Thank you for the tour of this wonderful shop! We had a shop here in CA in a reconstructed OH log cabin that carried many of these artists…alas, she has retired. I, too love the flickering faux candles as my husband is allergic to the scented types.
