We always like things to be logical & fair.(i.e) If I do right, good will come to me and if i do wrong, bad things will happen to me. Right brings rewards & wrong brings consequences.It isn't always true.Life doesn't work out quite that well.
consequences belong to wrong actions.But for right actions, sometimes we struggle with resentment & anger.See, Jesus gentleness & humbleness finished His earthly life as a corpse on a cross!!Before that, He released His will & accepted Father's.He suffered awful consequences even though spent His life giving & serving.
"Thy will be done" force us to lean on God.----to trust God to believe God---- to release our will & accept His.But it's so painful for a human being to do this.Words fail to describe the pain of that transfer of wills.Finally, when we made the transfer, we'll become empty handed, totally dependent & able to lean hard on our God. Even though it was a time of
great stress, We've hope that God is going to direct our lives, may not be logical & fair, but they're always right.
