Signal Laser Flares

The Mini Laser Light is a hand-held day and nighttime laser signaling device that provides a convenient, effective way to signal a rescue party. It has a brilliant RED laser light and comes in our most compact size and its waterproof. It can operate continuously for 40 hours on a single, long-life, replaceable CR123 lithium battery. The Magnum Laser Flare is a larger version of the Mini Laser Light, which will also produce a brilliant RED laser light and it can operate continuously for 72 hours on a two easily replaceable AA batteries. Finally, there is a Green Rescue Laser Flare and is similar to the larger version of the Magnum Laser Flare. This will produce a flashlight Brilliant green light and is the most visible of the three models and the preferred style of Search and Rescue (SAR). It can operate continuously for 5 hours on a single long-life replaceable lithium battery.

I carry one in my dry bag when I’m on the boat. My EPRIB, PLB, 2 way radio, strobe, whistle and green laser. At night I want to be seen by rescuers. So many reports about how close rescuers were but they just passed by. A green laser paints a straight line anyone can follow and can be seen for miles.

Overpriced total junk. Greatland Rescue Laser Flare Magnum Red.The laser does not work as stated by the manufacturer. Visibility on nighttime maximum 1 mile, daytime - 40 ft (according to the manufacturer's requests, respectively: nighttime 20 mails, daytime 1-3 miles). My $15 laser works 10 times better :) Replacing the batteries with new ones didn't help at all.
