I live in a big house with about 70 people in about 30 flats and we have been having a lot of wifi related issues, so we are thinking about upgrading the WiFi with about 20 new Access Points. My first choice was the UniFi 6 Lite or LR, but I noticed that those access points only support 802.11n (WiFi 4) on the 2, 4 GHz band and we have a lot of devices that only use 2, 4GHz. The most compelling AP I found is the Grandstream GWN 7660, since it has all the features that we want and costs about 50€ less than all other options (except the UniFi 6 Lite), which does make a big difference when buying 20 access points. The only problem is that I haven't come across a single review of the GWN 7660. Could you test it?

Why does it look like Sangoma is pushing VERY HARD the Switchvox UC system.
1. is Switchvox better than FreePBX ???
2. or is it better than the paid version that Sangoma sells ???

Hi, I have a problme with freepbx that I am currently using. The problem is that freepbx call the on hold music function in the sip trunk before the other side pick up the phone. So if I used the softphone that connect to Freepbx and make a outbound call, I will hear the on hold music at the other end. Could you please help me on this one?

The problem with endpoint manager is, it works perfectly with so few phones, their own, yeah, thats included so why buy it, it doesnt work for current cisco 3pcc, mitel, panasonic or avaya phones, they are the masses in the wild, jesus it doesnt even do polycom from their website, so what is the point of buying it, nobody'sheard of sangoma, but every ICT person knows those models, perhaps sangoma are trying to kill off freepbx and just have their commercial version of it only. maybe thats there long term plan, and nobody say thats rubbish, remember what redhat did to centos, they bought it and patiently planned to destroy it 7 years ago. and now theyve done it.

Trying to set hot desking with new brand Sangoma P320 ip phone and get them provisioning via http but i am stuck, i did not set up the LE because i do not have an external ip, anyone know if this going to work ?

that FreepBX interface is a hot mess.. The underlying Asterisk works well.

Man, that seems overly complicated. I just use DHCP options and tftp to pull config files directly from the PBX - no portals or anything involved.
