Fuel Purge/Evaporator Valve Replacement - 2009-2013 Ford F150

This video shows how to replace a fuel purge or sometimes called evaporator valve on a 2009 Ford-150, 5.4L pickup truck. This should be the same for any 2009-2013 5.4 liter but could work on 2005-2008 models as well.
The goal is to fix the issues of rough idle, hard start, no start, long turn over after refueling, and lean fuel codes.

This video is a little longer than normal because of some frustrations but I felt I should leave them in for the real life/comedic value.

12:02 I’m replacing this part right now, I couldn’t get the clip over the collar for the intake, I noticed yours didn’t go over the collar also, have you had issues?

I keep getting a check fuel Inlet light coming on in my 2010 F150 5.4 l. Does that have anything to do with this job? Because it is not listed as one of the symptoms that be caused from evap valve??

Good day does this part fix the P0451 code which is evap emission system pressure sensor/ switch range performance?

Did you have to do anything to get the codes cleared for the replacing it automatically clear the codes

Sounds like the gas tank has been over filled.
