True story: we were shopping for a king size mattress up on the show floor, reserved the one we wanted, and decided to check the “As Is” section first before picking up our mattress and the exact same one we picked out was sitting in the As Is for more than half off…all because the forklift driver punctured the packaging and there was a small hole in the underside of the mattress. Nothing damaged but the outer covering of the mattress underneath 👌🏼

The best part for me? They're already assembled!!

I once found a huge sheepskin rug in that section for $8.

EIGHT DOLLARS.

With them going for ~$200 (at the time, this was years ago), I’m positive someone made a mistake and it was supposed to be $80 lol. But the cashier just looked at me and said “hey, tag says $8 🤷‍♀️” Definitely one of my top finds of all time lol!

We remodeled our kitchen with ikea cabinets. I got over 1/2 of the cabinets and and 5 of the doors we needed in the as is area. Doors were only $5 normally $110 each. I’m also doing our closet using pax cabinets got 4 of the 5 we need in the as is 2 were over 50% off. I love the as is.

After picking up my flat cart, this is my first stop as soon as I walk into ANY Ikea. An honest gold mine! Finding already assembled items, even extra parts for Ikea furniture hacks, spare parts to replace missing pieces (and some incidentals like screws, nails, etc.) are free.

That’s so true, I usually start by this section using one of the shortcuts to directly get there without even entering the showroom 😂

My local ikea barely has anything in this section, and most of the stuff is heavily damaged (frame is broken, missing crucial parts).
