Requesting A Review For Your App | Swift 5, Xcode 10

Today we go over how to request a review for your app and how to follow best practices when requesting the review. Using SKStoreReviewController, you can increase the amount of reviews you have on the app store, which will lead to even more downloads.

By the end of this tutorial, you will know how and when you should show a request for a review to your users.

Cool tutorial. One small detail you can create a link you need just to register your app in itunesconnect.apple.com and you will have app ID without submitting it.

Exactly what I was looking for. The long tutorials are by far the best as you explain things so well and cover all angles. Question though. Can I place the request written review into a uibutton and have the user tap that if that want to review it?

Thank you Kilo. So, to be clear, in your demo… in the fourth week the app will make a fourth request but that request is not shown to the user, because Apple filters that out, am I correct? And Apple does not penalize you for making that fourth request, right? What happens if the user submitted a review in first week… will any new requests also be filtered out? Will a new request then only be presented to the user with an updated version of the app? Also, if you would want to ask your user for a written review it would be best to have any means of checking beforehand if that user did not already submitted any (written) review.
