Makes me think we should all take a pic of our art hauls and set a reminder on our phones for one year later to assess how it went.

I love that you make reviews of your hauls after a year. It really helps with decision making on the viewers part to hear what you liked about something, and why. Many thanks!

12:52 This Mijello Pure Pugment set has been on my wishlist for some time.
I appreciate your comments one year after use. There are lots of "first impressions" videos online but having your opinion after a whole year is valuable. I thoroughly enjoyed this video. Thanks, Helen!

Those Flashe paints are on my NEXT list! I’m not fond of acrylics and they look like a happy alternative. The use of your haul one year on is impressive! I’m loving your recommendation for the gelatos. They gave that extra little punch to my landscapes. 😊

When I had brushes I didn't quite enjoyed because of their shape I gave them a little haircut 😂. It worked out quite well though i was scared of completly ruining them but I thought if I don't use them the way they are and can't really give them to anyone I could at least try to make them more usable. One brush ( probaly 20+ years old) had several "haircuts" now and is my favourite texture brush.

I love how well used all your materials are, there’s something very joyful about that. 😊

Hi Helen! I bought my flashe paints because of your video from last year and never regretted it. :) Really a great discovery thanks to you! 🙏

This was one of my favorite art haul videos you did. Especially love the wildflower book. Love that you used a great deal of the materials and really enjoy them. Keep up the wonderful artwork!

I enjoyed this year-old haul and how you have used your supplies. Please consider doing another abstract card-making video. Thanks,

Hullo Helen, I noticed a couple of drill/hole recommendations for the wood palettes. Getting the finer tooth drill bits is good going with a higher speed drill or even a drill press or drillpress holder for your hand held drill. Higher speed is a good idea like the Dremel that just goes faster and going with a Dremel bit or stone grinder for a smooth dip/hole in the wood. Good Luck there! I really like the synthetic brushes from Princeton the Velvet touch and Aqua Elite's are some of the best synthetic's I have ever used, more like the best Kolinsky than the cheaper Kolinsky's! The best thing about the Molotow markers are you can fill and re-fill your own and also buy them empty! I like the buy fluid acrylics to fill markers and I have seen others use acrylic inks for markers too! Thanks for sharing your results of your haul with us!

Thanks for the walkthrough on your materials; it's always helpful to see how they work with artists' practices. I'm holding off on buying paints in quantity until I get an unrelated milestone accomplished, but have previous and pandemic-acquired sketchbooks and drawing materials.

Yup, def one of my favourite of your "hauls". I bought the Le Franc Borgois but only the tester as the price is prohibitive over here. I LOVE them and altho haven't used them in any "pieces", I love mixing them and making fabulous colours 😆! I will use them in a mixed media piece at some point as I think they'll match really well with my Neo IIs, of which, thanks to you, I now own every single colour expect the metallics 🤭. And my goodness, you should see my storage solution for them 😀 - thank you Temu! I'm going to start calling myself Helen soon as I'm completely obsessed with making every single storage solution perfect for my studio! Anyway, thanks again for this onc, really interesting. Hope you're having a fab weekend in paradise x

I love the one year reviews, I got the Sushma Hegde book and absolutely love it and use it all the time, I also got the Princeton Neptune brush set and again they’re used daily 🙏

Try using a forstner bit. They are designed for cutting precise, clean, flat bottom holes.

I got the Mission Gold 24 Pur Pigment set a few months ago for their generally smooth, non-granuating colors. I'm not tempted by their new granulating ones at all. This set is perfect for me.

Definitely a good recommendation for the flashe paints, you’ve obviously used them a fair bit!! That was a huge haul last year.

I love Princeton brushes, Neptune, Aqua Elite and Velvetouch. I even have one of the Neptune travel brushes in a size 10. And I like how you store your pencils. Keep thinking about doing that...
