I grew up in a Farm with cows and sheep and the risk of getting injured from is almost unforseen. Onetime I almost lost a finger from cow pulling a rope aganist my finger on a tree.

I feel ya bro, same here but I was on a fire call and the 3 inch hose off the pumper, rolling out 1500 gallon a minute and the fitting blew after and knocked out 7 of my front teeth, demolished my mouth

We were also taught to stand a little sideways and place your foot and leg against the gate when shutting and opening them, similar to how you would stand if you're trying to keep someone from coming in a door, so if/when you get a kick back or push back your whole body absorbs it and keeps you much safer.

One of my biggest fears right there. Ends up being a waking nightmare at times…..all my teeth fall out and all kinds of beautiful meat with no way to eat it. You literally lived my nightmare Scott. Good morning yes we've all been there done that same thing happened to me in the dairy barn in Idaho I lost 65 head of cow when the cow kicked the gate back in my face in the chain flipped up around my shoulder anyway fortunately we're both alive and well LOL love your Channel especially love your venison stuff
