Beautiful song. If you listen to it closely though it is actually how a narcissist sees their love interest to a T. Firstly they see you as an object such as a piece of art not a person. As well you’re are beautiful on the inside which they are not.

Secondly they are right by your side like a thief in the night which is every relationship with a narcissist. They will be right there at all times.

Thirdly their envy of the person you are will in the end make them want to destroy you, and they can’t tell why it hurts so much to be in love with such a good person. It’s because they are the opposite but they hope you haven’t figured it out yet.
