Audi S5 A5 B8 door handle latch installation

Replaced the keyless entry sensors in the door handles with some cheap ebay ones. Found the latch difficult to do but found out that you can retain it this way. Easy.

I changed my actuator today and now Iv followed you video soon as I put the barrel back in the door handle won’t pull
It will only pull a small amount
Soon as I take barrel out it will work fine

Thanks so much 🙏, I wasn't changing my door handle I was trying to figure out what the previous owner had removed to prevent the door being unlocked manually (Some pieces missing) and it popped out.

I followed all of these instructions but, when I slide the part across that should lock the other part in place, it won't hold there, it just pops back where it was so I can't get the handle to go in where it should be. Any suggestions?

Hi, ive got a 2008 Audi A5 3.0. My passenger side exterior door handke has no tebsion when you oull it to ooen the door. It opens from the inside but not from the outside. Im unsyre if its just a bowden cable or if i have to change all the door handle parts.

Pour moi impossible de bloqué le loquet avec le support de barillet ou il y a la vis. Méthode ; 1-Décalé le bloc du maintient de barillet complètement à gauche. 2-Prendre une petit ficelle pour tenir le loquet d'ouverture et le tirer vers soit par le haut le plus fort possible, insérer la poignet, relâcher le loquet. Vous verez que la poignet s'ouvre un peu mais pas au maximum. Si c'est le cas c'est que le système est bien monté. 3-Ensuite CENTRER le bloc DE BLOCAGE du barillet (ou il y a la vis dans la portière). 4-Réinsérer le barillet avec votre clé dedans bien en face du système de verrouillage, faire des petits tour gauche droite léger avec la clé. le barillet va s'insérer. 5-Tout de suite revisser la vis de la portière sous le joint à fond. Et la magie la portière s'ouvre parfaitement. En faite le souci de la procédure audi est quelle ne parle jamais de décaler le bloc en metal du barillet qui bloc le passage de la poignet. Bon courage
