Yo I received my audio volt 176 yesterday, and every time I touch the 76 compressor button there is a huge super loud background noise that automatically creates, whether with headphones or monitoring, and even when I rec, we hear this noise in the lead track, So when I deactivate this button, everything is fine Except that I would really like to take advantage of this integrated compressor, Do you have any advice please because I'm lost!🙏🏽

Hi, good video explanation. But i still have a question about the monitoring part. Can i use the monitoring dial to hear myself louder when the direct monitoring is put to on ?

I`ve put this posting elsewhere to try and get some help, so please don`t think it`s spam or junk. I just bought the Volt 176 and am using the NT1-A with Kali Audio LP6s. TRS connection from the volt, into the monitors via XLRs. The 48v button is coloured up red. Mogami XLRs join the mic to the front of the 176 but it`s so quiet! I cannot record voice as the gain won`t go past about 35% without feedback. It`s powered with the USB-C supplied and that`s plugged into a USB-C port on my PC. But, no matter what combination of settings I try it just seems too quiet to record vocal into Audacity. I`m way below where I should be. Any ideas?

Is a hiss (after setting the interface up with proper Gain settings, etc...) emitted normal with the top compressor button set to 'on'?

Hey, I use bandlab with the volt 1 and I use a Chromebook but my vocals always sound delay and sounds like my vocals don't come out like they're supposed too lmk what I can do?

Can you tell me how much of an upgrade the Volt 276 will be compared to my first generation Scarlett Focusrite 2i2 that I’m using now?

Do you think having the compressor on Volt 276 is much better than getting just Volt 2 without the compressor, do you think it justifies the higher price? Thanks for the review.

UA Volt 276 monitor output is very low, I have to work with the monitor volume knob at 90-100% 🤦🏻‍♂️
