Wi-Fi Reset — Rachio 3 Smart Sprinkler Controller

Have you changed your Wi-Fi network information or equipment since installing your Rachio 3? Reset the Wi-Fi on your smart sprinkler controller to ensure you never miss a watering.

If your Wi-Fi network credentials have changed (Name/SSID and/or password), or you set up a new router, we recommend performing a Wi-Fi Reset using the steps in this video. A Wi-Fi Reset will clear the controller's network settings, but not the zone or schedule settings.

This video leaves out the most important step so I had to connect with tech support to help me. Once I completed the steps shown in the video, tech support had me click the wifi icon on my Mac (next to the date/time), then connect to the Rachio wifi. At that point I followed the steps it takes you through and my setup was then complete.

I am a profesional landscape installer clients ask me to install these device it never work we have strong wifi signal tablets phones tools but it won’t connect I am embarres to ask the client to pay me for waiting for these thing to connect is not a good system it has a lot of issues when connecting to wifi a process that should not be complicated

If you can’t connect use an older device like iPad. Connecting with newer device may cause issues.

When I turned it on this spring, it won't connect. I have a new iPhone 12 and run through these steps and can't get it to connect. More than upset!!!!

I have this controller and it's absolute garbage. It will not stay connected to WiFI and has been nothing but a pain. I'm going to yank it out and replace it with a manual controller. 👎👎
