Nancy Pelosi boldly suggests Joe Biden should be added to Mount Rushmore

Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi suggested that US President Joe Biden should be added to Mount Rushmore on Sunday.
The 84-year-old made the bold suggestion during an interview on CBS Sunday Morning Show with journalist Lesley Stahl.
During the interview, Pelosi said Biden is “such a consequential president of the United States, a Mount Rushmore kind of president”.
“You have Teddy Roosevelt up there. And he’s wonderful. I don’t say take him down. But you can add Biden,” she said.
Pelosi’s comments of support come following a mutiny in the Democratic party that saw President Biden drop out of the 2024 election.
Stahl pressed the 84-year-old about Biden allegedly being ousted from his position, reportedly led by Pelosi.
Pelosi denied the rumours over her involvement and asserted Biden was at “the top of his game” when making his decision.
