I had a long time friend trying to sell me on one of those $70.00 mascaras. I told her that I have tried mascaras from $1.00-$100.00 and have discovered that Maybelline is the only brand of mascara that I can use(the rest makes my eyes burn and make my eyes red and puffy). She wasn't willing to take no as an answer and was still trying to convince me that her mascara was a superior mascara.

I know a singer from a popular Hollywood band(was huge in the late 1980"s-mid 1990's, and do a HUGE annual reunion show) who's wife bought into the whole "own her own business" from Lularoe(or should I say she was sucked into). He added me to her Lularoe Facebook page(her and I aren't really friends, because I don't really know her). I've been wondering if I should ask him how much money they lost through Lularoe. I just don't want to piss him off by asking.
The rest of us could see that Lularoe was a scam, but they didn't listen to reasoning.

I can buy leggings at WalMart for about $10 a pair, that fit the purpose (and me). I can go to several stores and find the right colors of lipstick, foundation, etc, most of which are less than $10. I don't need the expensive stuff most MLMs tout.

I've had two encounters with mlm.
1. Was a n old a quaintance who moved to northern norway, who suddenly sent me a fb invite to join a group for some spanx-ish shape wear that claimed to make you thin. I declined the invite politely. Five minutes later she invited me again. Again I declined politely. Third time I got an invite, I said I didn't wish to be a part of it with a plead to honor my wishes. The last time she invited me, I replied with the reason I dom't support mlms, thanked her for the aquaintance, and blocked her.
Second instance was a guy at a work course who spoke highly about some nutrient boost, and boasted how he got his parents hooked. I asked what his doctors said about it, but he ignored that comment. He mentioned how much he earned selling it, to which I just said I don't support mlms. He asked what it was, and I explained. He tried to defend the brand, but I just ignored him. It wasn't my coolaid to defend.

Can you do a juice plus deep dive? My good friend sells it but knows I feel about MLMs so she never mentions it to me... it's one of those sleeper MLMs that seem to be hard to get honest information about (income/product research/etc)
