There’s a great video recording of George Lucas talking about how in the first movies some people hated on the droids, then the Ewoks, then the Gungans. There’s nothing wrong with any of them, but maybe something wrong with a vocal minority within the fanbase.

If they don’t like Starwars, then they should admit they don’t. Otherwise, we need to embrace the Gungans and the Ewoks as the Cannon they are, both of which I thoroughly loved and enjoyed.

Tbh I never found Jar Jar that annoying as others do. Gungans are underrated.

It's stupid that Disney did not make a movie about the gungans... they had plenty of time to release 3 hour life draining movies about avatars ....why not gungans?
