Another great performance from John and company, the band and backing vocals spot on as usual and John as always puts everything into it. This is another song that John adapts to the changes in music over the years and incorporates so many instruments and different aspects and influences into his music throughout the decades and different genres. You just don’t get music like this anymore, as far as I’m concerned brass is a great addition to a band, especially rock or soft rock and should always have a sax, I love the sound and power a sax can bring. Idk you could write forever about all the great things here and in all of John’s music, let’s just say well done, and thank you god for blessing us with Mr John Farnham. And paper paradise is one of John’s late 80’s songs, not really well populated but is very different style of music from John. Very upbeat, soft rock/contemporary maybe? Lots of brass and well worth a listen. Thanks VK for this one and check out “paper paradise”.

I think this album came out after a fairly big break from performing. It got him into the groove again. Most of his albums came out every couple of years. After this his albums and touring less frequently. And a few years later he did the Last time tour which was the last of his big tours
But no matter when he toured or how he toured his voice is still spectacular

Bob Seger does a great version of this song. The song "The Long Run" uses the same rhythm. Great reaction.

Fantastic reaction Vakasa 😊 Thank you for continuing on with 33 1/3. I appreciate you completing the rest of the album. Glad you are loving it ❤❤ Great to be able to show a live performance of this song. I think it is from 2006 with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra - correct me if I am wrong 😉
You are right, I believe the whole thing is made up of covers and there are very few live performances available. When you get to them, there are live versions of Man of The Hour and Soul Reason - also video clips on Farnsey's channel of both of these 👍
Great breakdown. You are absolutely correct. Never lose yourself in a relationship. Codependency or fusing with the other person is not healthy - you should never give up who you are and what you need and no one should ask that of you if they truly love you.
Can't wait until You Don't Know Like I know 😊 And Paper Paradise is a song from Farnsey's time with the Little River Band from the album No Reins the last one he did before leaving.
Thanks again. Take care everyone and I hope you are well 😊🙏 ❤❤
