How have I not heard of this guy until now?!!! On top of that incredible eye contact and inviting open smile at the beginning…..How about, after the audience sang he “THANKED” them! What a class act and what a talent! I discovered his existence an hour ago on the Amazon Prime Celine Dion “I Am” Special. I CANNOT believe this guy was not as famous as Rod Stewart, Don Henley, Brian Adam’s, Peter Cetera, Steve Winwood, etc. I was born, raised and still live in L.A. and was 18 in 1986 and I’m telling you had he been known in L.A. L.A. would have LOVED him and he’d be an international household name. I’m listening to all his music to make up for getting jipped!

John Farnham's vocals and his range are up there with the greatest vocalists in the World. I challenge anyone to prove that wrong by digging deeper into his music, and what this man can do with his voice, Contemporary and even touching on can sing any Genre.
Again, I challenge anyone to look for Live performances and recorded if you wish, of John Farnham, and to make your own opinions.

This was the way The Beatles originally wanted to record the song Help as a Ballad nor a 2 and a half minute pop song in 1965. Apparently John Lennon heard this John Farnham version of Help just before he passed away in December 1980 and said John Farnhams version was fantastic

John Lennon's cry for help in '65. It should really have been a ballad, like so many Beatles songs should and could have been, such was the depth of heartfelt emotion in the lyrics of this and many of their songs. John Farnham brings an emotion to the performance that John Lennon would have appreciated.
