How are the updates now being handled with Ubuntu like distros?
I have been using Manjaro now for a lot of years for my main system.

The main reason was that I was always fiddling with updates with Ubuntu type distros (any flavor).
Also at that time the bumblebee drivers gave a lot of issues with Ubuntu, and therefore my laptop couldn't even boot.
Is that finally fixed as well?
Ironically I run in a lot of compatible issues with Manjaro/Arch, especially because not all lesser known programs are being updated (not even in AUR). So I am thinking of hopping to another distro again.

I tried to use Ubuntu so many times, but I don't know why I get an error at boot after 2-3 days using it. I can't remember the error, but it is so annoying. I love Ubuntu, but it's not for my laptop.
Now I'm using Solus and it's working like a charm. It's my favorite distro. The second one it's ZorinOS, and the third Linux Mint.
