If people actually listened to everything in a song; from the notes to the chords to the lyrics to the beat to the little instruments in the background, you'd appreciate it more. A lot of listeners nowadays just focus on the voice/lyrics.

"I miss you" is my favorite one. I love the darkness of that song and those ghostly chorus in the background.

If you listened to Adele this album was about her moving forward in her life. So the fact that it ends with sweet emotion speaks to that. I love the progression from 19 to 21 to 25. She's in a different place and that's what you ultimately want to hear from an artist is that they grow. There's some classic Adele there, but there's also happy Adele and sexy Adele (I miss you). I think it's the perfect album to showcase how she's grown/changed emotionally.

the appeal of Adele is that her music sounds luxurious or more upper class, this is the type of music that you will catch those type of people listening too, because i guess they like the raw emotion of how she sings her songs and the story she tells about love older people can relate to what she is singing about she definitely has an older demographic of fans. i don't listen to her music but i understand why people like her as an artist she's definitely painting a real picture about her love story she's not just singing about twerking or irrelevant materialistic things.

You didn't speak about I miss you! It was my absolute favorite, a more indie and experimental production, adele really shines, I would have loved to have her go for just a completely different direction with the album with more trippy songs like River Lea and I miss you. I think she played it safe on some tracks - remedy and all i ask are wonderful instant classic ballads but really the only thing that makes them stand out is Adele's voice and performance. However I do suggest you get the Target bonus tracks - it really balances the album a bit, adds a really strong ballad and some more interesting production - i believe you'll like the more organic feel of Why do you love me. I'm kind of pissed she didn't just add them to the album cause they're not fillers at all!!

Can I ask, Anthony, what's the difference between the simple instrumentation on "Remedy" and the simple instrumentation on "Hello"? Why do you appreciate it on one track and not on the other?

She can do no wrong in my eyes. I like sad and mediocre happy shit, so this is exactly my cup of tea. I realise I made it sound pretty boring, but at least she is not trying to be painfully different lol. Thats the worst man.
