Raspberry pi on .net core

I've written a wrapper around gpio command for raspbian and started having fun with my raspi GPIO and interrupts.
No dependencies, quite straight forward, and written in my beloved C#.

I've put the code in github, i'm pretty sure someone can do better :)

That is really cool. Was it difficult to get c# running on Raspberry Pi - Assuming raspbian? I tried using the windows IOT but that was a piece of garbage.
