17:33 - As a Rules Official, I am very glad to see a Rules Official spotting and ruling on the Mandatory.
However, I am baffled by the DZ location and the Mando location. The rule says the DZ must be within 10-metres of the Mando, unless you obtain a waiver from the PDGA. From my viewing of the coverage, it appears a DZ with a long opportunity for a very difficult par would fit within the 10-metre rule. This DZ guarantees bogey at best - which is effectively a double penalty - something the rules specifically avoid doing in all cases. It looks more like amateur hour at a local league, than the PDGA World Champs.
I want to point out that not being able to see the base of the Mando tree from the teepad makes it extremely difficult to determine the distance to it. Mandos should have contiguous ground visible all the way from the tee, so the players can see it clearly. I give the hole 2/10.
But your coverage of it remains 10/10 - world class. Thanks, Jomez team!

Why didn't you guys show the catch cam for Dickerson's drive on 13? The spotter said he missed the Mando but the video angle and disc position definitely make it look good. Where is that footage?

Loved the "you were winning udgc then lost by 18" from jerm followed up by "hey hey whoa whoa" from sexton. They got some great commentary together and make this coverage so much note entertaining plus helps lessen the disappointment thst great plsyers like cole feel when they are getting tough breaks after leading at a piint in time. Although worlds is one if the few events I feel like I gotta watch no mstter who's on the mic and it's probably impossible to get fully over mistakes when you know that this event can make a great name for your abilities as a player
