I have severe back pain how supportive of the back is it? And after nearly a year of having the chair would you say it's still as well padded as it was when you initially got it?

I have purchased this chair from Ikea. First one squeaked a lot. Asked IKEA to change it under warranty, which they did (thanks IKEA), but the next one is the same. Does your chair squeek? On mine its the mechanism...not sure where or why or how. When It starts to squeak I change the sitting part extension a bit and then it stops for a short while. Yes, i tried teflon spray on parts I could see, does not help in the long run. I have much cheaper IKEA chair that squeaks much much less then this super expensive one. :(

Hello i read a lot about this Chair most negative comments are about of is reliabel and longlivity after some Months they are squeaky noises. Would you Still Buy this chair ? Sorry for my bad englisch :)

I brought this chair and now it will not tilt back/ lean back, do you have any suggestions?

Isn't the backrest a bit too short? I'm debating weather to buy it or not...

The backrest may wobble and the knob can loosen over time. This might cause the backrest to slip down. But u can add a thin layer of cardboard into the gap to make it more snug. 

The wheels are not the best feature of the chair. They do not roll smoothly and often warrant replacement.

Not recommend for folks above 1.65 m

Word of advice. I have this chair. First one came arm adjustment broken. Second time back rest not aligned strait and cosmetic and structural issue. Third time I replaced came with very squeaky base. I gave up and accepted some compensation. Hard to find good quality one with this chair.

Hi friend, this might be a stupid question but I notice you called it a "low chair". Is that the max height? or can it go higher, as I like to have my arm rests in line with my desk :)

My office is carpet floors not sure if it will roll well with the rubber wheels

It is too bad the armrests can't be adjusted or removed.

Is there a way to clean the wheels though? Like if hair and string etc gets stuck in it you can't take apart the wheels to clean them at all because of the wheel covers.
