I'm late but the "camel toe" that can happen won't usually happen if you don't pull them up as high. And then anyone looking to buy them, everyone recommends sizing down by one for specifically the flex leggings!

I compared by mediums to my smalls and there is only an inch difference between the two in length. Of course, it's bigger every where else because it's a bigger size. I think it may have been a bigger difference for you due to the fact you got the medium pair out of the hamper and it was worn and stretched out! lol But, you also could have just gotten a defective pair if after you wash and it is still that much of a difference. Unfortunately, the medium has the extra material in the crotch area on me too, which sucks as I'm a little over 5'7" and I need the extra inch in length.
