Battle of Gallipoli 1915 was the biggest invasion in history with over 500,000 Allied troops entered in Gallipoli Peninsula only to face the staunch Ottoman resistance.

At first, Allies decided to cross the Dardanelles on their Ships but their advance was halted every time by Ottomans. This made Allies change their strategy and they then decided to make landings at Gallipoli Peninsula to finish off the Ottoman Resistance but the Ottomans proved to be unpenetrable. Thus Allies loss their 300,000 men in battle and withdrew from the Gallipoli Peninsula.

Also, at Sariskamis in 1915, the Ottomans led by Enver Pasha faced one of their worst defeat at the hands of Russian Winter. That's all from our Northern Campaign.
