When I was much, much younger I learned this Greek song to impress a Greek girl I was dating. At her cousin's wedding they played it...her brother Nikkos knew I knew the words and made me get up and sing the last verse, the one that starts Na'tan i tha...i did it without flubbing it...became an honorary Greek that night. Also Nikkos later warned me that the bride's mother (a Cougar before there were Cougars) who was divorced made a suggestive comment about me....

The best days of my childhood. My family loves Guns of Navarone movie and now when i age 30's i'm searching back Youtube for this song. I hope, in this modern world, there is more pleasant community like this, always singing and live in harmony. We are different faith but our friendship is bounded by this harmony, Orthodox people.
