Small tip from someone that's been doing this his whole life..
A squeeze of lemon, and a dash of coconut water before freezing will dramatically tame the acidity and the creaminess of the texture. Plus it tastes amazing ❤

If you dont have a fancy ice crema machine you can also use a bag of frozen mango chunks in a blender or food processor.
Add a little bit of lemon or lime juice
And maple syrup if you want some extra sweetness
And then you have an easy 2-3 ingredient mango sorbet without the fancy ice cream machine!

(I used to make this all the time, and still make it occasionally tp this day. One of my favorite recipes!)

Plain looks great. A splash of half and half or coconut milk might be great as well.

Two things:
1. Anyone who wants to do it can use a Blender for it. Freeze the fruit, put something to make it sweeter (some people like to use honey) and limejuice if you want (also water if that helps to blend easier. I never needed but it's an option)
2. If you just freeze and put it like the guy did, unless your tool is made to blend hard material well, it will probably start to break. I recommend to cut the frozen fruit in smaller bits so it makes easier for your machine.

That's great! I have one. My coworker is in chemo and only craving spicy food. I was thinking of making her a mango habanero spicy ice cream. ☺️ Thanks for this!

You add sugar to your sorbet principally to keep it soft after the suff was in the freezer for more than 24 hours. That only pured mango will be hard as a rock the next day.

a kitchen i worked at had something similar. you just had to put like 90 percent fruit and like 10% sugarwater in a cup and it would make a sorbet from that. tasted hella good
