I love watching you struggle understanding Roland's Light System.

The Yellow Boxes in the corner while using Roland is your "Light".
Each card uses Light corresponding to it's cost which is the number.

Roland only can attacked when he has yellow aura and walk normally also spot the place where Roland last teleport just come at that spot and Dodge all his attack till he teleport and can be attacked yeah

The card system/moves for Roland is simple

The more number the card has the more light it takes which is the yellow thing below on the right

By saving up enough and just using lesser light combos youll eventually get furioso

For example you used a card that cost 1 light and you still have an extra 2 light u can pick another card or 2 more 1 costing light move or you can save up for higher numbers like furioso

Tips fight roland
Make he near you spawnpoint and try stagger him
If you almost die reset you character so roland emotion lvl wont go up (he cant use much move if he have low emotion lvl)
Phase 3 do the same but mostly focus on only angelica

A easy way to kill him: Get a friend with Gojo/Todo and you use hakari, or he uses hakari, then its easier to kill him, because of gojo having ranged moves, sukuna is good too.

You need to wait for him to go on cooldown. He will teleport away when that happens and that is the only time you can do damage. All his moves grant him I Frames. In other words. Soloing him is tough. Also: Some people say to solo him, Hakari and Gojo are the best, due to consistent damage and teleport moves. But just know that if you plan to solo him, you are never going to get domain or any large damage moves off.

Roland is so op with max phase V. But Genos and Hakari with barrage can killing your block on 2 seconds, it's so annoying. Cool video
