so... the video game series centered primarily on sophisticated stealth, silent assassinations using accidents or poison from a puffer fish, leaving the area undetected & cunning displays of silent infiltrations


the movies on the other hand...

might as well call them "shooty shooty just like every other action movie"

all wrong agent 47 is the strong but silent type. he doesnt talk much. but he is very stealthy and deadly.

The problem with a Hitman movie. The games focus on a guy, who is silent, deadly, strong, quick, cunning and basically a bald chuck norris. All this can be done in Hollywood, but the one thing, the one thing that makes a Hitman movie so hard to do, is the fact that in the games...he barely speaks. And no-one is gonna go watch a movie for maximum two hours where the main character barely says a word the whole time.

terrible. never pushing boundaries and now we are getting another solid franchise given the hollywood treatment. This is basically going to be a stunt reel with a shitty plot and shoehorned romance, bearing absolutely no resemblance to the games.
