Ρακοκάζανο στο Χωριό Μετά- Raki Distillation in Kera, Kissamos, Crete

Cretans love Raki. Every year, the end of October is the grand opening season for the raki distillation. We were happy to visit a very hospitable family in Kera, Kissamos where Stratos the Host, explained the whole distillation process and how proud he is to be the owner of this installation that his great grandfather created four generations ago. During the raki making process, the whole village and friends get together to share local dishes and of course to try the new raki.
