Totally agree with your review. I've been there for 2 weeks in June and loved it. We booked Unique and it was worth it. The Unique buffet and the bar are amazing. The A/C in our room worked very well. The food in the a la carte restaurants was very good. There is so many entertainment options (escape room, axe throwing, bowling, videogames... they have 2 PS5 in the teens club). Do not hesitate and book immediately!

Very nice hotel. The property is beautiful. Take lots of pics. Our room was a swim up pool across from the adult only pool. The breakfast buffet has delicious fresh tropical fruits. The infinity pool was awesome and not crowded. Can’t wait to visit again.

I haven't stayed at Lopesan yet but I have stayed right next door at the Melia. The beach is very nice but there are a LOT of boats parked in front of the shopping area between the Melia and Lopesan and directly in front of Lopesan so it can be quite noisy and a lot of exhaust fumes. The Melia beach is much wider than Lopesan so you can get away from the boats but not so much at Lopesan

Just got back from Lopesan. July 15, 2024.
This place is top notch.
Unique section is the way to go.
Food, drink, service is all amazing.
Property is well maintained with no seaweed. Next door however is a different story.
Expect to walk quit a bit but it’s cardio and burns calories.
Pools and bars have awesome service and drinks.
10/10.
It compares to and in some aspects swims out over other resorts like Mirage.
Will use this as a go to spot from now on.
