Love the review! Although, when reviewing a lower end/cheaper piece of gear like this the vast majority of buyers for this bundle doesn't have the analog gear used to make this bundle sound as great as it does. It would be great to see a review utilizing the gear your reviewing, Reaper (and it's in house plugins), and obviously your audio interface. In other words what I consider to be a bare bones standard setup. With a experienced engineer like yourself that's the kind of review I would love to see. Other than that, your channel is great. Keep doing what your doing.

Absolutely solid. I've been wanting some good affordable mic's for awhile now.

Last time I tried recording drums we only had a USB microphone, and two condenser mic's.

It gets even worse when we only had a XLR box with only TWO inputs, so we had to record the bass with the USB mic and a laptop and the rest was recorded using the condenser mic's set midway between the high-hat and snare for left, and the ride and toms for the right mic.

Aside from not knowing jack shit about clocking, it ended up sounding like shit.

In fact, there was a subtle delay between the two drum recordings so the end result sounded like something insanely hard to play.

I was on the fence about picking this up for live re-enforcement, so the drums didn't eat up mics I have that could be used elsewhere on the stage, .... not crazy about the kick or snare sound, .... but tolerable enough that if I needed my kick/bass elsewhere, ... like a bass cab that lacks direct out, ... for the price of 3 SM-58's and still manages to pull off a well rounded sound like I heard in the video, .... hellz yeah, ... this mic kit is going right to the top of my shopping list. I've had pretty good luck with the two Samson products I own, ... powered PA, and headphone Amplifier, ... good for the money, ... but naturally I was nervous about picking up their mics, .... because microphones are something I always want to try or hear a variety of samples before I buy. Hi, Glen. Love the channel, but I think for demos such as these, it would be nice to hear the mics without processing first to give a more honest representation on what the mics actually sound like. Just my two cents.

This is a rare occasion when some of the guest musicians in Glenn's videos give a bad performance. Something was clearly wrong with the guitar player.
