a better mob farm is the stacked design with water dispensers forcing mobs off, it doesnt rely on mob ai to walk off the ledges and it spawns what is effectively a constant stream of mobs that you could just drop directly onto the catalyst

I thought option one was to make it spread, although first of all, it has a max radius. Second, you can see them BUILDING on the land instead of it spreading. So technically you did option two

I think a better farm for these project was a raid one, since you can just stay afk and they will drop to they're death and it has many mobs. The only bad part is the fact that is, maybe, a little hard to build, but i think is worth the time and it will saved you so many hours, but still i enjoyed the video pretty much 😉

Here’s my theory; the warden isn’t it’s own separate species but an off branch of the wither being separated when the ancient builders built the nether portal. When it entered the overworld, it dug straight down leaving holes in the surface which are what lush caves become. It found a small patch of skulk and was skulkified.

i will admit, as a player of primarily 1.7.10 modded Minecraft, this reminded me of Thaumcraft Taint in the best way. something about it is just quite interesting to me. never thought i'd get that out of modern MC.

Shouldn't you be able to funnel zombie pigmen through a nether portal in the sky and push them via water stream to fall onto a skulk catalyst that would then continuously be spreading skulk as long as you had one player in the Nether and on player in the overworld to keep the mobs from de-spawning?

In bedrock edition, sculk does not spread that way. The spot where the mob dies, it grows there

Unfortunately, at least from what I have heard of them, only the natural spawning shriekers will summon the warden. The brightness of the swirling souls animation is bright on natural shriekers and dark on the harvested and placed ones.
