Find Your Access Code for EI (Employment Insurance) - Canada

To submit Employment Insurance (EI) Reports in Canada so that you can continue receiving benefits, your Social Insurance Number and an Access Code is required. In all of the confusion in switching over to CERB (Canada Emergency Response Benefit) during the 2020 Covd-19 Pandemic, some Access Codes were not mailed out.

I spent two weeks calling several times a day trying to get through to a person to obtain my missing Access Code. When I finally was able to speak to a human being, she told me exactly how to find the code myself. And, she asked me to tell all my friends :-)

Here's hoping these instructions will save you the trouble I went through.

The site has changed, you can't do this anymore. Of course they've made it HARDER. Now I guess you have to spend 2-3 hours on the phone to get a simple fucking 4 digit code?
