The way I understand it angels/demons had one chance to make a choice. 1/3 of the angels followed Satan when he was cast out of heaven and became demons. After that angels and demons no longer have a choice to go to heaven or hell. As long we live we can choose to trust Jesus and go to heaven when we die. But angels/demons are different.

The devil can be forgiven, but will never be forgiven because God knows all time, and the devil will never repent his sins and he will never love God and Jesus. It is not Gods fault, it is his own.

Satan, who was Lucifer, who became Satan when he was cast down from Heaven, committed blasphemy by proclaiming himself to be like God and elevated himself to the high holy place. He stole Glory from God and declared it for himself. His sin is unforgivable also, because his sin took place outside of time and space. His sin took place in eternity, where there is no past, present, or future. He sinned in a time of forever, so his sin lasts forever. He cannot be forgiven, nor can he even ask for forgiveness.
