I have a laptop with a thunderbolt 4 port and plugging it in doesn't seem to trigger anything. The screen seems to see something on the port and asks if we want to change inputs (but it also does this if I plug in my phone or even bluetooth earbug case) but plugging into the port doesn't seem to trigger anything in windows that would indicate this is detected as a screen on the port or ask any questions or trigger a reaction like when a device is plugged in with hdmi and the computer wants to start screen extending or duplicating.

I plugged in my power bank into the monitor while it was on and the monitor seems to not turn on anymore. Lg tech support have may fix to this ? Or did i cause an outage ?

does the Type-C charges the laptop as well?

Doesn’t work. At all. Doesn’t charge or connect. Have this monitor. It’s useless. 29WQ600-W UltraWide Monitor. Will return mostly. Much better ones available that atleast do what is advertised
