Excellent overview of the 3 major light source projector types.
How does DLP fit into the mix. Is that tech used only in Lamp based projectors?
I have an older DLP Optoma EH500 (4700 lumens) for showing Portrait & Video work in office presentations & an occasional reception.
Seems that this choice is pretty ideal for my work right now.

I used to face rainbow effect with dlp with 1x colour wheel speed earlier now using dell pj dlp with dlp darkchip3 and 2x colour wheel speed now no rainbow effect.
I would prefer dlp as excellent picture depth sharp and black level high.
I am using basic dell 1220 pj with dlp darkchip3 and 2x colour wheel speed no rainbow now.
You can get few sharp and optoma dlp with 5x colour wheel speed no rainbow.
