See woman escape from her alleged kidnapper

A woman who had been abducted nearly a year ago while traveling across the country made a dramatic escape from her kidnapper after she concocted a getaway plan to a New Jersey gas station, authorities said.

When i was 22 i worked at a gas station there was a woman being followed by a man, she was visibly distressed and i saw his agression, i told the man to leave the property, and i didnt let her leave the store. She had my moms name when i asked her, so i felt even more willing to be involved. I made her call her father and he took almost 2 hours to show up to the gas station, turns out her boyfriend took her from her home town in the bay and hasnt been able to contact any of her family for nearly 2 months. The dad gave me a crushing hug i remeber the strength of it to this day.

When I was a cashier I had a woman checking out groceries in my line. I noticed she looked nervous and I started to ask if she was ok but then she turned ghost white and shaking. She was looking at a man who came in the door. He looked at her then all of us cashiers and then went to the office and put in an application. He kept staring at her. She whispered to me that he tried to kill her. We could not escape to the office because it would require walking straight by the man. So I set my line to blinking and pretend that we needed a price check to get my boss to come out or a stocker man to come up. Once my boss was with us the man left and boss man took her to the office. The dumbass had actually put his real info on the application. So....that was convenient.

Any person who randomly kidnaps a stranger snd holds them against their will should go to prison for LIFE . They are a danger to society and should never be given the chance to do it again.

Did you notice she's barefoot? Didn't stop her from running for her life. Brave gal. A gas station employee did a similar act of kindness for me when I was 16. Wasn't as dire a situation as this but I needed help escaping from an unwanted situation 30 miles from home. He drove me all the way home. And, I still think of a gas attendant who saw my lunch sack break and fall in the rain as I was crossing the street to go to school at age 7 or so. After 72 years I can still see him rushing out to hand me 50 cents for lunch. I've thought about that gesture many, many times over the years.

There needs to be a greater charge for anyone holding someone for more than 48 hours. A YEAR?!? That's some major emotional damage and time lost. Not to mention the years it will take to come to terms with the imprisonment. That POC should never see the light of day again.

It happened to me in Houston. I was eighteen. At night I went to a Shell gas station. A Chinese man locked me in his freezer. The man came looking for me but he said he didn't see no one fitting that description. They left and he came to get me and let me use is phone to call my family. My hero is a Chinese man. Never knew where I was or what side of town. Because my mom had just moved to Houston Texas. My Heavenly Father had me the whole time directing me in which way to run. After they left me their car. Go toward the light. And I did what the voice told me to do. Thank you Heavenly Father my guardian.
