My mother had this genetic test done in 2012 after breast and pancreatic cancer. Her mother had breast cancer also. It costs $4000 then. They are correct in this video that was made in 2013, it was expensive and the costs were driven down. I just had it done this week and waiting to hear how much it will be, but don’t anticipate it being anywhere close to that. My insurance will cover it, after my deductible.

american population = about 350 million people. 1 person in 500-750 haveing the gene does not mean 1 million have it.
