Is Jenrick Playing a Dangerous Game with Tory Party?

Robert Jenrick has given a non-apology on his cruelty to children as immigration minister, as if trying to appeal to both sides. He has also been accused of telling some MPs privately that he will pivot back to the centre if he wins the Tory leadership contest. Is Jenrick trying to play both wings of his party, and what does he need to do to make it work?
