We protested against a Super League. Why are we so accepting of it now it has a FIFA badge on?

If eufa has a billion spare cash to spend, i could think of many ways it could be used to improve football at a lower level. A lot of smaller clubs dont good training facilities, for one.

He said it's quiet complicated why Chelsea is at the club world cup but Liverpool isn't, then he goes ahead to explain the most basic and easiest explanation known to man. Yes we understand it's because they have been in the champion league in the last 4 years 😂. How hard is that to understand lmao

FIFA spending so big when they've lost the video game money? Shows what kissing up to the gulf states can do 😒

It's 1 billion spread out over the whole competition. The winner doesn't get 1 billion dollars. What a nonsense, clickbait headline.

Can you imagine adding that to Chelsea’s already impressive trophy cabinet, great way to start the new era

Potential benefit is that big teams that have been competing in a bunch of tournaments during normal season will be more fatigued than smaller teams. If a small team is on the cusp of becoming top tier in their league they may gain the most here.

One thing I like about this is, Auckland City boost New Zealand representation on the global stage. They're regulars at the old CWC, but barely got a mention.

I don't mind new changes but if it's going to ruin the stats don't do it for example the hat trick the mbappe scored against city in the champions league was scored in playoffs and they played 2 extra matches than the teams that where on top 8 of the league

The fact that this involves invitational teams makes this even more of a farce

this is such a desperate move from fifa - knowing no team wants to really play it cuz of all the injuriy concerns, so they just pump money into it

1billion is cool but I want my club to have a full squad 2months into the actual league
