Navy Upsets Army | 2021 College Football

The college football game between Army and Navy saw Navy pull off an upset as they defeated their massive rival 17-13. Coming into the game Navy was 3-8, while Army was 8-3. Navy's defense dominated and completely shut down Army's offense in the second half. A fake punt in the second half also helped Navy as they added on a field goal to make it 17-13. Army had a chance to win the game late, but Navy's defense stopped them on fourth down and Navy held on for the 17-13 victory.

Army Vs Navy games have always been close

While at my first duty station(DESRON 30)in Philadelphia, I had sideline passes to this game in 1978 from working the official pregame reception hosted by Commandant Fourth Naval District. It is a rivalry like no other in any College sports. The game was played in the old JFK stadium right outside the Naval Base where the current Eagles stadium sits. Great memories and pictures.
