23:20 I was thinking of this game since I watched it live and I may have come up with a semi- workaround if you two want to try and organize it: Instead Move the pawns from their columns in 1 to the equivalent in 3.. So there will be open spaces from a1-c1, f1-h1 and d3-e3. It may mess with the idea of blocking your King in from the get-go of course, but at least the idea stays relatively the same with how much is guarding where.

Alternately there's the ol "fill rows 1 and 2 with queens and pawns respectfully* and move your pieces up two rows to make the board 6x8, but that may be too cramped and you won't have your more versatile 2-move pawn moves on the 2nd row.
